Terms of service

The agreement between you and TelTech for the Teltech AI receptionist. These terms govern your use of the service, including our text messaging (SMS) program.

Effective date: August 26, 2026

1. The service

These terms govern your use of the Teltech AI receptionist, a service of TELTECH ADVANCED PHONE SYSTEMS CORP, doing business as TelTech, 1043 53rd Street, Brooklyn, NY 11219 (“TelTech”, “we”). By opening an account or using the service, you agree to them.

The Teltech AI receptionist is an always-on AI front desk that answers phone calls and website chats on behalf of your business, resolves questions from the knowledge you give it, books appointments, and captures caller and lead information (the “Service”), managed through ai.teltech.info. It is part of the TelTech family of services. The IVR and cloud phone system at ivr.teltech.info and community group text messaging at sms.teltech.info are separate products of the same company under their own terms.

2. Accounts

  • You must be 18 or older and, if you act for an organization, authorized to bind it.
  • You sign in with a TelTech single sign-on account. You are responsible for everything done under your account and for keeping your password and any sub-user credentials confidential. Tell us at once at cs@teltech.info if you believe your account has been used without permission.
  • Keep your contact and billing details accurate. Notices sent to the email address on the account are notices to you.

3. Acceptable use

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

  • make or send calls or messages that are unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, harassing, or that violate the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the CAN-SPAM Act, the Telemarketing Sales Rule, state telemarketing laws, or carrier messaging rules;
  • use the Service to call or message anyone without the consent the law requires, or continue to contact anyone who has opted out;
  • spoof caller ID, misrepresent who you are, or use the Service to relay traffic for others without our written agreement;
  • record calls without the consent required by the law of every place a party to the call is located;
  • interfere with the Service, probe or attack our systems, or use them in a way that harms other customers or carriers.

We may suspend traffic that appears to violate this section while we investigate, and we may report unlawful activity to carriers and authorities.

4. Fees and billing

Where a plan, feature or unit of usage has a price, the price is shown to you before you buy and is billed through the central TelTech billing portal linked from your account. Usage-based charges are metered and billed as shown at purchase. Taxes and regulatory fees are added where they apply.

If a charge fails we notify you and retry; after 14 days we may suspend the account until it is paid.

5. Phone numbers

Phone numbers assigned to your account for the Service remain available to you for as long as the account is active and paid. Numbers are not property; they may be reassigned 30 days after an account closes. Port-out requests go to cs@teltech.info. Numbers must not be used in a way that violates section 3.

6. AI conversations, recordings and caller data

The Service answers calls and chats on your behalf and can record, transcribe and summarize those conversations, and can collect information from callers and visitors (for example contact details, form answers and booking requests). You are the controller of that information. You are responsible for giving callers the notices and obtaining the consents the law requires, and for using the information only as you told them you would. We process it on your behalf under our privacy policy.

The Service uses artificial intelligence. AI answers can be incomplete or wrong; review important information before acting on it, and do not use the Service as your only channel for emergencies or legally required notices.

7. Emergency calling

The Service is not a replacement for traditional telephone service and is not a way to reach emergency services. The AI receptionist cannot place 911 calls. Keep an alternative way to reach emergency services.

8. Text messaging (SMS) terms

SMS program

TelTech operates one text messaging program, TelTech account alerts.

What it is. Account and service notifications (one-time passcodes, new sign-in notices, voicemail and missed-call notices, and service notices) sent to TelTech customers who turned on text notifications inside their TelTech account. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply.

Opting out. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and nothing further. You can also turn alerts off inside your account.

Getting help. Reply HELP for help with the program. You will receive: “TelTech account alerts: account, security and service notices for your TelTech account. Msg frequency varies. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel. Help: cs@teltech.info or (718) 957-7771.” You can also contact cs@teltech.info or (718) 957-7771.

Your opt-in is not shared. Your opt-in and consent will not be shared with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of this program. See the privacy policy.

Consent is not a condition of buying any TelTech product or service.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Group text messaging at sms.teltech.info is a separate product of the same company with its own texting terms; these terms do not cover it.

9. Your content

You keep ownership of the knowledge articles, documents, audio, recordings, contacts and other content you put into the Service. You grant TelTech the rights needed to store, transmit, play and process it to provide the Service and to comply with law. You are responsible for having the rights to everything you upload. We may remove content that violates these terms or the law.

10. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times and schedule maintenance outside busy hours where we can, with notice to account holders. You are responsible for keeping copies of content you cannot afford to lose; the portal lets you download it.

11. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time from the portal or by emailing cs@teltech.info. We may suspend or close an account for non-payment, for a violation of section 3 or 8, or if required by a carrier or authority. Where practical we give notice and a chance to cure. After closure your content is deleted as described in the privacy policy.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided as is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that AI answers will be accurate, or that every call or message will be delivered, and we disclaim implied warranties to the extent the law allows. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TelTech's total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost calls, lost messages or lost revenue. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to the extent permitted.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Kings County, New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction. We may update these terms; changes take effect 30 days after we post them and notify account holders by email, except changes required by law or carriers, which take effect when posted.
